Kids are always a soft spot for me so this year I gave to two organizations that do incredible work in that arena.
#1. I donated $200 to Venessa Behan Crisis Nursery. Vanessa Behan helps parents who are having difficulty providing safe shelter and care for their children. They may be dealing with issues as complex as substance abuse, domestic violence and homelessness. Or, they may just be exhausted and worn-out from the demands of parenting which is at a high with all the craziness of 2020.
#2. I donated $200 to the malnutrition program at Danita’s Children in Haiti. Many organizations around the world are struggling as donations shift to help local needs. Our family has personally supported this organization and our dear friend is a missionary who runs this program. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world. 1 in 5 kids in Haiti suffer from malnutrition. It’s absolutely heart breaking and one of the many reasons why we love to support Danita’s Children whose mission is to rescue, love, and care for orphans and impoverished children in Haiti. https://youtu.be/SNdG70T8G0g?t=93
Thank you so much Nick and Tyler for the generous opportunity to give!
